Kyrgyzstan - (also known as Kirgizia), formally the Kyrgyz Republic, is a country in Central Asia. Landlocked and mountainous, it borders with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China. Kyrgyzstan was a republic of the former Soviet Union and is now a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Capital - Bishkek. Population - 5,264,000.
