Japan - Located in Eastern Asia. Capital - Tokyo. It is an island chain between the North Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan, east of the Korean Peninsula. Japan consists of several thousands of islands. The four largest Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku. The total area of Japan is 377837 sq km (145884 sq mi).
